How do I apply it for best results?

Simple. Spray it 2-4 times, scrunch it into your roots to activate, then style it exactly how you want. Amount of sprays will vary on your hair length and thickness.

How does it feel in my hair?

Is it really non-toxic, and what does that mean for my hair?

Yes - unlike others, we only use 5 non-toxic ingredients. By doing that, it's going to be gentle on your scalp, and will absorb excess oils naturally & effectively. Unlike other brands (we won't name names) we will never cheap out on our ingredients, because we actually care about the long term health of our customers.

How long does one bottle last?

It varies by usage, but on average one bottle will last you 60-90 days.

Can I use it with other styling products?

Yes, Texture Powder works great by itself but we always encourage mixing & matching different product combos to see what works best for your hair. One popular combination is the BASED Matte Texture Duo, which is a mix of BASED Texture Powder and BASED Hair Clay.

Can I use it after the gym or when my hair gets sweaty?

Need a post-gym touchup? We got you. Once your hair is dry from sweat, a few sprays will get you that much needed touchup. With it being so light and compact, it's a perfect fit for a gym bag or a backpack.
